Editor's Letter

There’s no such thing as a new trend.

Fashion is, by nature, cyclical and self-referential. What we consider to be ‘timeless’ [read: a suede jacket, an oversized blazer, a silk slip dress and so on], can be ‘on trend’ from one season to the next.

Le Vibe Vintage was created as a solution to shopping these pieces from the modern high-street, where brands dilute a designer’s vision with cut-and-paste silhouettes and a standardised point of view, and instead, creating a space where you can shop the OG versions of current must-haves from a pre-loved archive – at accessible prices.

Each drop is sourced by myself, a former fashion editor, to align with what you want to wear now. Influenced by the runway, pieces are selected for their quality, endless wearability and contemporary appeal.

I don’t want to wax lyrical about the effects of fast fashion on the planet – we all know the story by now – but my hope is that whatever your wardrobe is looking for, you’ll find a second-hand style here to suit. In doing so, you’ll create new and unique looks with every purchase and save these deserving pieces from a landfill.

Until next time,

Sam
